In 2018, we came together as part of the UN Women’s Empowerment Program, each of us setting goals we hoped to achieve afterward. Fast forward to Monday, 9/9/2024, we reunited through an initiative by our company, Kuwait Compliance Co., a company driven by a strong social mission. During the event, several inspiring and influential women shared how the program empowered them, telling the stories of their projects and journeys over the years, all within the activities of Kuwait Compliance.

Aliah Al-Shammari spoke about a statistical tool for researchers called “REST: Researchers Essential Statistical Tools.” Meanwhile, Aseel Al-Masaad presented her project “My Clean City,” a community-driven initiative that encourages everyone to play a role in keeping Kuwait clean. In the closing highlight, Fadha Al-Maeeli discussed her project to translate Kuwaiti folktales and literature, aiming to preserve cultural heritage and promote cross-cultural dialogue.

The story isn’t over yet… we’ll be back next year with more success stories.
