During my participation as a volunteer in the Advisory Council of the Global Training Portal, led by the Honorable Professor Kifaya Al-Alban, I was pleased to contribute to a meeting held at the United Nations House (UNDP) in cooperation with the General Secretariat for Planning. The goal of the meeting was to follow up on the implementation of the recommendations of the conference “Integrating persons with disabilities into sustainable development goals” within the vision of a new Kuwait 2035.

During the meeting, we discussed several important topics, including:

· The importance of developing media awareness towards people with disabilities.
· The importance of access for people with disabilities to entertainment venues.
· The importance of ensuring the provision of health services for people with disabilities.

Since 2015, I have been participating as a member of the Advisory Board in a personal capacity and with the “Kuwait Compliance” company as a sponsor of some of the events of the Global Training Portal, due to my strong belief in the role of this company in community development and its role in the true integration of people with disabilities into Kuwaiti society. This participation represents an important step in my professional and community career, and I look forward to continuing to work towards achieving common goals.
